Upcycling Projects for the School Gala!

·       Our Envirogroup would love to make some things to sell at the school gala, but we need some keen parents who can help us (probably in school lunchtimes.)
·       Maybe you have some skills and ideas you can pass on!
·       Please contact me if you are interested.
·       Ms. Stevenson, Room 6 victorias@titirangi.school.nz

Some suggestions so far have been…
·       Tie-dying t-shirts to sell.
·       Making paper beads, and then necklaces to sell.
·       Making candles from old wax crayons to sell.

This is our Litter Patrol team wearing their official jackets.
Charlotte, Kiera, Poppy, Ella, Jasmine, Julieann, Grace

These members of the Envirogroup were so concerned at the amount of litter around our school,  they created the 'Womble Club.'
Any students are welcome to sign up and clean up around our school.
Keen club members can earn badges and even become Litter Monitors.
Here is the 'Womble Club' promise:
I promise with the help of my heart
to keep the environment clean,
pick up rubbish, and
convince people to not litter.
