Rubbish Around School!

We have a problem. People have been leaving rubbish around our school instead of putting it in the bins or lunch boxes.

Yesterday we found 507 pieces of rubbish after lunch on the fields and the bleachers!

Rubbish does not go away and it can take years to disappear! Don't drop your rubbish around or our school could look like this!!!

Remember our school values and RESPECT our property and our environment!

WASTE-FREE WEDNESDAY WRAPPER AUDIT   12^th June

Total number of packets or wrappers that are going to the landfill today:

350

If we subtract that total from the 618 pieces we had in our first audit, then we are putting 268 less pieces of rubbish in the landfill this week!!

Our Top Waste-free Classes are:

Room 1        Room 23             Room 19

Most reduction in wrappers :

Room 8 (38 less!)            Room 14 (37 less!)
